Could you share with us your thoughts on fashion vs fatshion?

Well, I am not aware of what that word means.. I am assuming it has to do with bigger women and fashion.. I hate the fact that a word has been coined. Everyone can participate in fashion no matter how they appear. Equal opportunity for all!

What is your philosophy with regard to fashion?

In regard to fashion my philosophy is don't pay over 40 dollars for a piece of your outfit: I am a living example. I think it interests many people that I get many of my clothes at Goodwill and Salvation Army for less than three dollars each! It makes it fun and interesting to create new outfits out of other people's tossed out junk! :) Besides, I grew up exploring my Grandma Kutch's antique store (Plain Jane's Antiques in Taylorville, IL) so I like antique ANYTHING and find the story behind it interesting and enthralling.

I would love for you to share three of your fave looks.

(1) the dress in the first photo was 5 dollars from the Univesity of Illinois Costume and Props sale (I am a costume design major) and the shoes were 3 dollars from goodwill. The earrings were a gift from my cousin. They are clip ons and vintage. The second picture goes with the first.

(2) the third photo is a ModCloth dress with a vintage Lisa's Antique Mall Umbrella. The shoes are from Goodwill ($3). The necklace was a gift from an antique store.
 
(3) the third photo's dress is from the 1950's and I hemmed it myself. The necklace is from my Great Great Grandma Frisina and the shoes are vintage vegan from ebay ($25). The tights are Salvation Army (.99) and the heir feather is from an independent artist (Her Majesty's Creations)

How does blogging impact your life?

Blogging takes up a lot of time. I think it's beneficial to myself and also, I enjoy making the friends I have made on Blogspot. I am really making some connections and having fun at the same time! I love hearing what other people have to say about my photos.

Do you have a message for all the fashionloving ladies out there, whatever their size?

No matter what your size, there is no such thing as an unattractive woman... only a woman who doesn't know how to attract. Self confidence is key no matter what your size. Keep your head up and stay confident and you will dazzle crowds!
