Could you share with us your thoughts on fashion vs fatshion?

My answer to this is complicated as I think that as part of the fatshion community I have to use the term to indicate my curvier sisters. I would love to see a day when we are treated equally in fashion, but I am realistic that sizism is a long way from where it should be…

What is your philosophy with regard to fashion?

My philosophy on fashion is wear what makes you feel pretty and makes you happy. It’s not about dressing “thin” or fitting into some cookie cutter fashion mold, its about wearing what you know makes you glow and changes your mood when you wear it. Don’t allow others idea of what they find flattering affect who you are in your fashion.

I would love for you to share three of your fave looks.

I am a color whore… and I find my smile is brighter and I am more confident in color…

How does blogging impact your life?

 

It keeps me from going off the deep end. It keeps me grounded when I feel there is no ground… Right now… more than any other time in my life it gives me something to do so that I don’t lose my mind in the unemployment of it all.

Do you have a message for all the fashionloving ladies out there, whatever their size?

Love the skin you’re in… period… no matter your size. I also want them to know that you can be sexy, beautiful, and intelligent at any size. The number on the label of your clothing does not define who you are.
