Silky hourglass

Hi Sweethearts!

Today I went for a minimal look with few accessories, letting my figure do the talking.
And that`s a lot of talking LOL!

The outfit:

Dress, my design (made from a basic tee, spotty fabric and silk from a Noa Noa dress that never fit me but I loved the fabric so :D )
Earrings, Accessorize
Hairband, Lindex
Sandals, DNA

Tell me, how do you work your figure?

It`s all about the waist

Hi sweethearts! How are you?

I decided that my black dress
(that I made from a T from H&M and fabric)
needed some definition at the waist.

So today I sewed on a strip of a patterned black and white scarf to bring my waist into focus.

You like? :D

I worked the dress with
leopard glasses, bangles, ring, all from H&M
earrings from Vera Moda
Bag that my sis bought for me in N.Y
Sandals from DNA

Hope you are enjoying your summer!
Sending you all big <3

A pop of colour in the night

I hardly ever wear all black anymore, but today I wore a dress I have sewn using a t-shirt from H&M.
I wanted to spruce it up a little, so out came the colourful pops of colour! :D

Studded sandals (DNA)
Blinged up neckless (H&M)
Earrings (bought in Toronto)
Colourful fabric wrapped around my wrist
White ring (H&M)

Alex and I shot the pics late, at eleven p.m, and while the light wasn`t the best for pics it sure
was beautiful.

Thank you all for sharing your thougts on my post on labeling our selves.
Love you!

Brilliant black and grey

Here`s me posing in a hurry and in brilliant sunshine today :D

Black dress of my own design, the top of the dress is a Tshirt from H&M that
I cut short and added to the dress
Sandals from Zara that I reworked today
Feathered head dress from H&M
Earrings from Jade Jagger/Indiska
Leather strap used as bangle and turqoise mirror-ring, both H&M
Shoelaces used as neckless.

I love these sandals from Zara, but they were a bit tight over my toes, and I couldn`t
be bothered to widen them, so instead I cut off the silver strap and added grey fabric
from a dress. :D What do you think?

Today is the first day of my summer holiday, and I couldn`t be happier about it!
Sending you all big kisses, sweethearts!

Windswept fun!

Never one to let rain or winds stop me from having fun, I went shopping downtown Oslo today :)
Look forward to showing you what I got later :))

My choice for today was a black dress (my design), black sequined bolero (Noa Noa), layered with a cardi from H&M that I chopped in half to get it short, earrings by Jade Jagger/Indiska, studded bangle, two scarves and fringed bag (all H&M)

Funny bangs!

How did you enjoy your Saturday dear readers?

Windswept kisses coming your way!

Feeling happy in peeptoe flats!

Hi gang, today I am feeling happy in my new studded peeptoe flats!

I am working the flats today in my fave selfmade white dress...

... and a black reworked vest with a statement neckless and gold bangle

How `bout them peeptoe flats!
I picked them up at Din Sko today, whizzing into the store, trying them on and getting them within three minutes!
Now that`s shopping with intention :) LOL

Here are the details of the rest of my outfit today:

This black vest that I made yesterday was originally a brown dress that I picked up at H&M in London a couple of years ago, mainly because I loved the top of the dress.
A black dyejob and some chopping later it was re-born as a vest with powersleeves.

Lovely buttons and stitching

Sleeves with attitude!

I sewed this dress with fabric from two dresses from Vero Moda and added a black sash.
Love my curves in it!

I adore the ruffles on the dress

I got this statement neckless in Toronto, Canada last summer. Perfect for making basics zing!

Sending you all happy thoughts!

Back to basics

Much as I adore colour, I simply love getting my groove on in basic black and white -all layered and flowy.

Here I am posing at a public restroom (LOL! The things I do in the name of blogging! ..Ok, fine, I may have done it before as well, but now I have the blog to justify it hahahha)

Let`s get to the outfit itself  :)

Todays choice basics are a black dress with embellished shoulders, layered with a cut off white blouse, leopard scarf, studded bolero, some of my fave jewllery, studded boots and fringed bag
- you know.. keeping it simple ;)

On to the basics:

I love this mix of textures, soft meets glitzy and prints.

I found this romantic white blouse at H&M a while back, and simply cut it off and freyed the egdes to make it suit me better.

Flowy details

This frozen clock-neckless is one of my fave pieces. I got it from Day Birger et Mikkelsen in Copenhagen two years ago.

I made this black dress my self, and adorned it with shoulderglitz from a top-come-bolero from H&M. The dress looks scruffy here, but is nice and flowy to wear.

Detail of the studs that I added to this bolero that I made from a jacket from H&M

This fringed black bag has my name on it, and I was one happy customer when I brought it home from Top Shop in Split, Croatia.

Fringy, basically!

Basic bling: creme coloured ring from H&M and black wristwatch from Alessi

Ready for a good time, basically!
